drawing on treated copper
24 inches x 36 inches

I decided to try something new and start heading in a different direction. The titles for this set of 10 works were taken from specific moments during their conception.

(no more nails through the top and taking away from the image itself.)

Daily DeviationThis artist used copper for a canvas and I have to say that it makes for quite the interesting effect. Going nowhere by =starvine is vibrant and lovely. (Suggested by *DailyDeviants and Featured by `guruubii)

Oooo, yeah, I like this one quite a lot. The way that you have the blue treated stuff at teh ends of of the ink make them look like some kind of cool fungus. Looks like a more natural mark too, which works with the weathering of copper and all.

That's beautiful. It's simply pleasant to look at. *he scrolls up to look again* Yeah, I just keep looking. It's a favorite for sure.
You have developped such a nice idea by drawing on copper, it brings a lot to the image. I really love this! It's definetly the kind of things I would love to experiment too :D

That copper gives a great effect. I'm curious, though- is the cyan stuff corrosion, or is it painted on?
I like it very much, whatever it is. It's a good contrast with the (kind of) softer oranges and reds.
The reds are from heat and the blues/greens are from different chemical reactions and corrosion. I have been working with it for about 7 years now and every piece I work on is a new journey. Thank you for your comment 8^)
