Well it has been a little while since I last posted a journal so maybe I should explain.
I wrote in my previous journal about my hospital stay. Well, I had to make a trip back to the hospital on the 30th of January and I have been here ever since. They have exhausted about every option and it seems I am moving on to the next step: a heart transplant. I was upset when it was first mentioned since I had zero knowledge on the subject, but after having the transplant team and all the staff that will be involved in the process explain and answer the large amount of questions I have found myself not upset at all. It is not going to be easy and there is a lot of work involved but I do not have any doubts.
As you can imagine you might not see the work I was in the middle of when this all came about. I cannot say that you won't see any work at all because situations change all the time and I am hoping that I will have the means to post something.
I have to add that the staff here at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida is nothing short of amazing. Everyone smiles and makes you feel as close to home as you can under the cirmcumstances. I can't put into words how grateful and blessed I am to have such a warm and caring staff looking over me.
My mom is the best. She has been here with me the entire time. I honestly have no idea where I would be without her. She is my rock and strength. I love her more than any words I can express here. I am also blessed to have such an amazing stepdad. Nobody has a heart of gold like him. I love you both.
My family and friends have jumped in andshowed me just how supportive they truly are. In the midst of everything going on they have moved me from the old house to the new house and anything I need they are a phone call away. I appreciate that they travel 4 hours to visit me and show their love and support. They just couldn't be any better and I love them for jumping in like this.
I am going to end the first chapter here. I will be adding more as I am able to.
Thank you for reading and watching.
Until next time-
J

I apologise for any spelling or grammatical mistakes that may have appeared in the comment above. I'm not dyslexic, I'm an idiot.
